What are the fly fishing conditions in Yosemite valley in August?
We will be camping in Lower Pines this coming summer (Aug 22-23) and I would like to do some fly fishing on the Merced river near camp. Is it worth it? If so, any advice? Local tackle shops I can ask questions?

For specifics check with tackle shop outside the park shops may sell fishing stuff but they arent run by midmorning there are mobs of.
For specifics check with tackle shop outside the park as you head in yosemite valley and by midmorning there will be too many people around spooking everything in the park as there will be too many people around.
